How Long Does GoldCoders Installation and Setup Take?

A GoldCoders installation takes one day for the Basic setup and one to two days for the Standard setup, when the hosting is ready and nothing unexpected gets in the way. A template on its own is faster still: it is delivered automatically the moment your crypto payment confirms, because there is no installation work to do on our side at all. A complete, ready-to-launch website is a different job, and it takes five to fourteen days depending on the tier you choose.

That is the honest short answer. The rest of this guide explains what sits behind those numbers, what an installation really involves, and what genuinely delays launches in our experience, so you can plan a date you will not have to move.

All prices and timelines above were re-checked against the live shop and services pages on 27 October 2026. If a price ever changes on a service page, the service page is the correct figure, not an older article.

Why the template alone is instant, and an installation is not

This is the confusion we clear up most often. A template is a design pack. It changes how a GoldCoders site looks: the home page, the member dashboard, the deposit and withdraw screens, and the inner pages. It does not include the GoldCoders script, and it does not change how the script works. Buying one from the shop is a file delivery, and file delivery can be automatic.

An installation is the opposite kind of job. Somebody has to put the licensed GoldCoders script on your hosting, connect it to a database, set up the scheduled tasks, and check that the result works. That cannot be automatic, because every hosting account is a little different, and the checks at the end are the whole point. Skip them, and you get a site that looks finished and fails on its first real deposit.

The script licence itself is your own purchase from GoldCoders. We never include it in a template pack, and never bundle a licence price into an installation price, because the licence belongs to you and stays in your name. When you order, you bring the licence and the hosting, and we do the fitting and the testing.

What actually happens during an install

On our desk, an installation follows the same order every time, and the order matters. Jumping ahead is how small mistakes hide until launch day.

  1. We start with the hosting, not the script. We check that PHP and MySQL are available, that we can reach the control panel, and that we can create a database and a database user. If anything here is wrong, it is better to find it in the first hour than after the files are already uploaded.
  2. We upload the script files, run the installer, and connect it to the database. On a healthy hosting account this goes quickly. We fill in the site name, admin account, and basic settings from your brief rather than leaving defaults in place.
  3. We set up the cron jobs. These scheduled tasks tell the script to run its regular work on time: earnings, plan closures, and member emails. A site without working cron jobs looks fine on the home page and quietly falls behind everywhere else, so this step gets its own check.
  4. We put the core settings in place. On the Basic tier this means the settings a site needs to run at all, checked rather than assumed. On the Standard tier this is the full pass: site settings, plan-related settings, and the settings that control how members see their accounts.
  5. On the Standard tier, we set up email and test it. We send test messages and read them the way a member would, because an email system that only works in theory is no email system. We also configure the payment gateway basics, so the deposit flow has a real route to follow.
  6. We finish with the launch checklist walkthrough on the Standard tier. We go through the checks with you, in order, so you see what was tested and what still needs your content before you announce anything.

That is the whole job, and on a ready hosting account it fits inside the published timelines without rushing. The work itself is not long. The waiting, when there is any, almost always comes from somewhere else.

What we check before calling it done

We do not hand a site over on the strength of its home page loading. A home page can load while the member area, the emails, or the scheduled tasks are all broken, and nobody finds out until a member does. So before we call an installation finished, we check what a member will actually touch.

  • The admin area opens with the credentials we hand over, and the member area opens too, on a normal browser and on a phone screen.
  • The database connection holds, and the cron jobs are not just saved but scheduled to run. Where we can, we watch a scheduled task run rather than trusting the schedule line alone.
  • Email sending works, and the messages arrive where they should. On the Standard tier this is a tested result, not a setting we ticked.
  • The payment gateway basics are in place, so a deposit has somewhere real to go.
  • The core settings match your brief, and nothing is left on an installer default that you did not choose.

If any of those checks fail, the installation is not finished, even if the calendar says it should be. We would rather tell you that a check failed on day one than hand you a site that fails on launch day. That is a slower handover in the moment, and a faster launch overall.

What actually delays launches

Every delay we have seen falls into a small set of causes. Here they are, in the order we meet them most.

  • Hosting panel problems. Sometimes the control panel will not let us create a database, or the provider has to fix something on their side. We cannot install on hosting we cannot reach. The honest timeline here is the time the provider takes, and we tell you that as soon as we see it.
  • Cron jobs not running. Some hosting accounts accept a cron schedule but never actually run it. This is the delay that hurts most, because the site looks done while its earnings and emails quietly stop. If the host will not run cron jobs reliably, fix the hosting first, not after launch.
  • Email landing in spam. A site can send email perfectly well and still have every message land in spam, because the sending domain lacks proper authentication. We check the setup and read test messages as a member would. That has to be fixed before members are invited, because members who never see their confirmation email assume the site is broken.
  • An untested payment callback. A gateway can look connected while its callback, the message that tells the script a payment arrived, has never been tested. Until a real test payment travels the whole way from the gateway to the member’s balance, the deposit flow is a guess. We test it during setup, not during your first real deposit.

None of these are rare. They are exactly the kind of problem an installation service exists to catch, and why we never promise a launch date that depends on hosting we have not seen yet. The published timeline assumes the hosting is ready. If it is not, the extra time is the time the fix takes.

How to keep your launch date safe

If you have a date in mind, work backwards from it, and leave the testing at the end, not squeezed into the last evening.

  • Get the hosting and the script licence sorted before you order. The installation clock cannot start on hosting that does not exist yet.
  • Send the brief in full: site name, admin details, and the settings you want. A half-finished brief costs time, because we have to stop and ask.
  • Do not announce a launch date until the checklist walkthrough is done. An announced date turns a small fix into a public delay, and pressures everyone into skipping the last test.
  • Run one small real deposit and withdrawal yourself before inviting members, even when we have already tested the gateway basics. Your own test is the last check no checklist can replace. Our launch checklist guide walks through the full list in order.
  • If your launch is a complete website, pick the tier by the work it includes, not just by the days. Basic at five to seven days is a working site with a template, settings, plans, payments and standard pages. Standard and Premium add customisation, content, branded email and launch support, and those additions take the extra days.

Which route fits your launch date

If you already have a working GoldCoders site and only want a new look, the template route is fastest, because there is no installation at all. Pick a design from the shop, pay by crypto, and the pack is delivered automatically. The remaining work is your own: putting the design on the site and checking the pages.

If you have hosting and a licence but no working site yet, the installation service is the right route, and the choice between Basic and Standard is really about testing. Basic gets the script installed, the database and cron jobs configured, and the core settings checked in one day. Standard takes one to two days because it adds the full settings pass, tested email, gateway basics, and the walkthrough. For a site that will take real members, that second day is usually the better spend. Our payment gateway guide explains how deposit callbacks work, and why an untested callback is the risk it is.

If you have nothing yet, the complete website route is the honest one, and its five to fourteen days are the price of doing the whole job properly. Trying to squeeze a complete website into an installation timeline is how launches slip, because the content, the plans, and the pages still have to be built properly, and that takes days, not hours.

If you are still choosing a design, our guide on how to choose a HYIP template starts where most buyers go wrong: with the member area, not the home page screenshot.

A note on choosing by days alone

A timeline is only useful if the work inside it is the work you actually need. A one-day installation that leaves email untested is not a bargain if your members never get their confirmations. The better question is not how fast can this be done, but what will be tested when it is done. If you are unsure, the frequently asked questions page and the services hub state the same prices and timelines as this guide, so you can compare them side by side.

Frequently asked questions

How long does GoldCoders installation take?

The Basic installation takes one day and the Standard installation takes one to two days, on hosting that is ready. A template on its own needs no installation and is delivered automatically once payment confirms. A complete website takes five to seven days at Basic, seven to ten days at Standard, and ten to fourteen days at Premium.

Does the installation include the GoldCoders script licence?

No. The licence is bought from GoldCoders and stays in your name. The installation covers putting that licensed script on your hosting, configuring the database and cron jobs, setting up the settings and, on the Standard tier, testing email and gateway basics. A template pack also does not include the script.

What delays an installation most often?

Hosting panel problems, cron jobs that do not actually run, email landing in spam, and an untested payment callback. Each one is fixable, but each one takes the time its fix takes, and none of them can be skipped safely. If your hosting needs extra work first, we confirm any difference with you before starting, as the service page states.

Should I choose Basic or Standard installation?

Choose Basic if you only need the script installed with the database, cron jobs and core settings checked, and you are comfortable testing email and gateways yourself. Choose Standard if you want the full settings pass, email set up and tested, gateway basics configured, and a launch-checklist walkthrough before you go live. For a site that will take real members, Standard is the safer choice, and the extra day is spent on testing, not waiting.
